The Pepwave SIM Extender increases accessibility of the SIM slots of Pepwave routers (see compatibility list below). If your cellular router is mounted on a rack, this handy accessory extends the reach of the SIM slots from the back of the rack to the front so you can easily install and change SIM cards without uninstalling your rack. This is particularly useful for maritime, vehicular, and other deployments where the device is hard to reach. 

The SIM extender is compatible to any Peplink/Pepwave device as long as it can be physically inserted to the device. This means it also must use a 2FF size SIM slot. For example:

  • BR1 Classic
  • BR1 MK2
  • BR1 Mini
  • BR1 ENT
  • Max HD2 Mini
  • Max HD4
  • NOT compatible with BR1 Pro, HD2, Balance 20X, or Balance 30 LTE
