This router features four embedded modems and you will need SIM cards with active service from a compatible provider to use them. The HD4 has standard 2FF SIM slots - if you plan to use a micro or nano SIM, you'll need a SIM adapter.

Designed for rugged industrial-type uses, the Pepwave MAX HD4 MBX Router with 4X global 5G modems with Cat 20 LTE failover is the next generation in fast, safe, and reliable connections with failsafe solutions. Connect your VoIP phones, cameras, and access points either wirelessly or with minimal cabling — up to four cellular links.

Next-Gen Connectivity and Cloud Management
Enjoy uninterrupted productivity in many conditions, along with cloud-based management capabilities and fleet tracking as well Ignition Sensing technology. The HD4 MBX supports up to eight SIM cards (with room for more with an optional SIM Injector), has four embedded 5G/Cat 20 LTE, three wired WAN, two USB and Wi-Fi as WAN. You’ll appreciate the fast, wireless connectivity of this unit’s 802.11ac, 1166Mbps and 2x2 MiMo. For connected devices, take advantage of the nine GbE LAN plus two GbE WAN (one x LAN can be configured as a third WAN, if desired). The unique fanless design is ideal for high-particle environments and the compact design has a wide operating temperature range and multiple certifications for utilization in many different scenarios.

*Compatibility with all WiFi networks cannot be guaranteed. Networks requiring authentication on a "splash page" (e.g. Starbucks WiFi) in particular can be hit or miss. Also note that certain features available for other WAN connections may not be available via WAW, such as MAC Address Clone or IP Passthrough - refer to the full product manual if you plan to use WAW for more advanced routing.
