The PR-NXD-W is a low-profile omnidirectional Passenger Rail Antenna that provides 4x MIMO WiFi. It meets rail industry standards NFPA-130 fire safety requirements. It provides four separate WiFi antenna elements in a small, heavy-duty radome.
Each antenna element covers 2.4 – 2.5 & 4.9 – 7.2 GHz. This provides true 4x MIMO for efficient data throughput. Furthermore, it is for WiFi-6 modems that require 4x MIMO. In addition, it is also backward compatible with earlier generations.
The NXD-W measures 3.52” (8.94 cm) in diameter and 0.625” (1.56 cm) in height. The low-profile nature of the antenna makes it virtually vandal-proof.
This rugged antenna is ground plane independent, therefore it can mount on non-metallic enclosures.
