Employees and consumers alike will benefit from your business adding the Peplink Balance 310 router to its network. By blending multiple affordable broadband and cellular internet connections, any business with up to 150 users can experience superior bandwidth and uptime without leasing expensive enterprise lines. The Peplink Balance 310 has seven LAN Ethernet ports, three wired WAN ports for connections such as cable modem and satellite and one USB port for a 3G/4G/LTE modem. Using either load balancing or SpeedFusion VPN Bonding (a second Peplink router is required for bonding) means up to four connections from different providers can work together so your internet access is always fast and always on.

Using the Peplink 310 as a load balancing router or a bonding router offers different advantages, and failover allows your 3G/4G connection to be the final emergency back-up and run the whole network if necessary. Whichever setup you choose, a Peplink Balance 310 enterprise router gives you access to the security of an unbreakable virtual private network, along with Intelligent Failover that switches traffic to healthy connections if one goes down. Other features include a bandwidth allowance monitor for those with monthly caps, a web-based administrative service for network management and a built-in firewall for added security.

Peplink Balance routers can be used as the cornerstone for a new enterprise network, or they can be dropped into an existing network with no configuration changes needed. With router throughput of up to 200Mbps, you will have the capacity for everything needed to stay ahead in the modern world. 5Gstore.com will provide free expert support for one year after purchase, and you will also receive a one-year warranty from Pepilnk.

5Gstore is a Peplink Certified PartnerFast Facts About This Product:

  • This router is best for: Business enterprise users wanting to load balance and/or aggregate between three traditional broadband connections and 1 3G or 4G USB device and utilize advanced VPN features.
  • Internet Connections Supported: 3 Wired WAN, 1 USB (view full compatibility chart)
  • WiFi Standard: No built-in WiFi. Add an access point (like the AP One Mini) if WiFi is needed.
  • WiFi Range: N/A
  • Ethernet ports: 7 GbE LAN + 3 WAN
  • Size: 1.72" x 11.6" x 6.25"
  • Bonding: SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. NOTE: Many factors influence the real-world throughput you'll see from bonded connections, including latency, connection type, connection speeds, traffic type, and reliability on both sides of the SpeedFusion tunnel. Cellular users should note that bonded cellular connections suffer from "flow control" of TCP traffic at the carrier level, and 5Gstore cannot guarantee that bonding multiple cellular connections will result in faster speeds (however, the other benefits of SpeedFusion remain, such as unbreakable VPN, session persistence, and 100% up-time as long as you have 1 healthy WAN).

Tech Support and 24/7 Support Portal Access Included: Our expert tech support is included for free with your purchase. You'll also have 24/7 access to our online Support Portal (which includes step-by-step guides, tip sheets, documentation, manuals, and more)! You can view all the support items you'll have access to by clicking on the "Support" tab above.

I am just starting the set up process for the Balance 310. I did actually have to make changes to the routers that this is going to live between due to IP address constraints - /30 was rather unforgiving. This is not a shortcoming of the Balance at all - we didn't ever plan for a device in the middle and locked it down as such. Thus far the set up is a breeze, the included manual has been excellent in terms of set up and any explanations.

This product replaced a dual WAN product from another vendor. I am using it in conjunction with a Balance 210 for its VPN and WAN bonding features. Set-up is easy (assuming you have some networking experience) and then the product just works. Lots of tuning options to get the most from multiple WANs. 5GStore support is excellent as well.
