This is the latest hardware revision that includes passive RF bypass!

This amplifier includes a cable terminated in SMA/Male for use with most routers/modems - an adapter is required to use with other devices (hotspots, etc).

When you’re on the road for business or pleasure, or installing an LTE setup in a non-optimal signal environment, you don’t want to spend half your time searching for a better cellular signal. The Wilson 460119 Direct Connect Amplifier amplifies weak 4G/LTE signals to improve data performance for a single device. This M2M amplifier uses the same technology as weBoost signal boosters to provide bi-directional amplified signals for enterprise or consumer cellular modems. The five-band Wilson Signal 4G connects directly to the antenna port on any data modem to enhance the broadband signal.

With the Wilson 460119 amplifier, you can get a better signal on Verizon, AT&T, MetroPCS and most other major U.S. cellular providers and networks. It can be configured to almost any M2M setup and has automatic power control based on the actual signal strength. RF bypass failover means you will still get the benefits of the mag mount antenna (or a different antenna if you prefer) if the amplifier has a loss of power. Use this M2M direct connect amplifier to extend your mobile connection range with a stronger and more reliable signal.

Amplifier Features:

  • All-in-One Kit? NO - a 4" mag mount antenna is included, but many users opt to purchase a different antenna instead; users of non-SMA devices will need an adapter to connect the amp to their device (sold separately)
  • Compatibility: This amplifier supports 700mhz/800mhz/1700mhz/1900mhz/2100mhz networks (which includes most 2G, 3G, and 4G providers in the US). Supported carriers/networks include:
    • Verizon 2G/3G/4G/AWS
    • Sprint 2G/3G/4G LTE - 4G LTE will only be improved where Sprint is using the 1900mhz band. This amplifier does NOT support Sprint's 2500mhz LTE band
    • AT&T 2G/3G/4G/LTE
    • US Cellular 2G/3G/4G
    • T-Mobile 2G/3G/4G
    • MetroPCS 2G/3G/4G
    • For other carriers, confirm which frequency your provider is using and make sure this amplifier supports it before purchasing! Contact us if you need any assistance.

IMPORTANT SIGNAL INFORMATION: If you're purchasing an amplifier for use at one specific location, we strongly recommend doing a site survey first to determine whether the amplifier will help you and to give you an idea of what kind of results you can expect from it.

 Features

  • Direct connect amplifier - connects directly to data modem
  • Installs in minutes
  • Boosts signal for all U.S. cell carriers
  • Configurable to fit virtually any M2M (machine to machine) install
  • Auto-power control ensures maximum output
  • All components needed for installation in one package
  • FCC Certified
  • Now with passive RF bypass failover. If the Signal 4G loses power, the amplifier is "bypassed" so that the external antenna maintains connection to the modem

User Benefits

  • Bi-directional amplified signals to and from the cell tower
  • Significantly extends connection range
  • Strong, reliable signal even in weak signal areas
  • Less resending of data due to poor connection means faster transfers

Adding these to our sites made approximately a 6 dB difference in signal

We were able to smooth out cellular connectivity and now have a strong stable signal through our provider where there was very weak and spotty service before.

boost signal but slows the speed

I work remotely in the middle of nowhere land on the weekends, being able to connect to my vendors, banks, customers & remote computer servers is extremely important, without a good signal I am screwed, lost time & money. I did the site survey and the conclusion was the booster and antenna may do nothing for me. Knowing I had line of sight to the tower and the signal strength readings, I knew I could do better. I bought this unit anyway along with a Wilson directional panel antenna, the flat one. I first installed the booster with my omni antenna I already had (better than the one that comes in the kit) and there was NO change in signal strength. So I put up the Wilson flat panel antenna without the booster. Very little difference in signal strength (-87db to -85db) a disappointment. I have clear line of site to the tower so I expected more of a change. I installed the booster with the Wilson flat panel antenna and it went down to -54db. 30db improvement. Well worth what I spent. No more dropped signal. I highly recommend this unit.

We are using a air card with an outside antenna. The internet connection kept dropping off because of a week signal. This amplifier has taken care of the problem 100%.

The equipment I just ordered kicked butt!

We had a 4g booster and then the Cradlepoint with a Verizon aircard.

Just to many devices.

We built a 30 ft mast out of waterpipe.

Put the omni antenna on top.

Hooked up the amp and connected the AER-1600.

When I arrived it took 4 minutes just to open speedof.me.

After installing the above items.

.6 MBPS became 6 to 8 MBPS.

This is awesome

Does the Wilson IoT 5-band amplifier kit require line of sight?

No, line of sight is not required.

Will the Wilson IoT 5-band direct connect amplifier work with an AT&T nighthawk hotspot?

Yes, but you would also need the following connector: https://5gstore.com/product/3683_wilson_electronics_cb-4620l.html
and https://5gstore.com/product/3989_fme-female-sma-female.html

How much farther distance will a Wilson 460119 amp help reach to?

There's no set distance devices like this operate within. It is all relative to what's available right outside and at the cell tower. So, you should be getting whatever signal and speeds are available right outside where your external antenna is located (more signal of course depending on the gain of your antenna and signal loss incorporated by the cable) and if there's faster speeds at the cell tower, there’s potential for more speeds back to your cellular device.
