If you live in an area that’s known for weak cell signals or has obstructions between you and the cell tower, the HiBoost Home 10K will give your devices the boost they need. With a coverage area of up to 10,000 square feet, it has the power for large homes or small offices or multi-residence buildings. The ultra-wide-band amplifier supports every major U.S. cell carrier and up to 150 total devices. So even if you’re having a large house party, everyone is covered! The amplifier itself is constructed from durable metal and has 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Both manual and automatic gain control options are available on the HiBoost 10K residential amplifier. An LCD display makes it simple to manually tune your booster for the optimal amount of gain without cell tower interference. For hands-off users, the AGC feature can adjust and control gain from the tower, even shutting down the amplifier if there is currently a strong tower signal. This HiBoost signal booster kit includes a high-gain outdoor directional antenna, an indoor panel antenna and two 30-foot low-loss cables for DIY installation.

IMPORTANT SIGNAL INFORMATION: If you're purchasing an amplifier for use at one specific location, we strongly recommend doing a site survey first to determine whether the amplifier will help you and to give you an idea of what kind of results you can expect from it.

If your signal is extremely poor (-108db or worse), an amplifier may not be effective - there must be some usable signal available for the amplifier to boost. Conversely, if the signal is too STRONG at your location (-50db or better), the amplifier may shut down to avoid interference with the tower.


Installation notes:

  • In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the outside and inside antennas (if the antennas are too close together, there will be oscillation/feedback between the antennas and the amplifier will shut down). This amplifier requires approximately 60' of separation between the outside and inside antennas. Separation can be horizontal or vertical.
  • If you cannot achieve adequate separation to eliminate oscillation, the gain on the amplifier will automatically adjust to accomodate, but that will result in a smaller coverage area from the amplifier.
  • The Yagi antenna must be aimed directly at the cell tower - if it is not aimed properly or if there are too many obstructions between it and the cell tower, it will not be effective.
  • The interior antenna should be at least 10' away from the amplifier and should be aimed AWAY from the outside antenna.

We are out in BFE with little to no signal and a steel roof. This kit was virtually a plug and play using components from our 10 year old system ... Using our old yagi and cables until Spring ... connected cables with N to F connector to amplifier ... powered up system and now we have more signal ... stronger signal ... more dependable signal than ever before ... And the Yagi is pointing 90 degrees away from the tower which is located 7.5 miles away. Very impressive !!!

Data through-put was amazing! We are 20 miles from the site and there is a pretty significant mid point obstruction (mountain). The surecell provided 4 to sometimes 8meg down the HiBoost provides many times more through-put and doesn’t drop out like the surecell. Improved Speed: 31.8 Mbps Down / 5.4 Mbps Up
