Installation notes:

  • In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the outside and inside antennas (if the antennas are too close together, there will be oscillation/feedback between the antennas and the amplifier will shut down). This amplifier requires approximately 5' of separation between the outside and inside antennas. Separation can be horizontal or vertical.
  • The permanent nature of the NMO antenna requires the help of a professional installer, as the installer will need to drill a small ¾" hole in the roof of the vehicle and run the antenna’s cable between the vehicles exterior and ceiling headliner.
  • You CANNOT use a traditional adapter cable that plugs directly into an antenna port on a phone/modem with this amplifier - doing so will damage your device! If you want a direct connect amplifier, see our direct connect options
