I have always used a USB modem in an Cradlepoint MBR95 router for my (in the field) internet. I have a small office in the camper, we are seasonal campers & the Wifi here is unreliable & insecure. The MBR95 supplied my computer, all my other devices, my kids devices & grandkids devices as well. The Wifi range of the MBR95 was short & it was time to upgrade it. I bought an ASUS router & even after 3 weeks of calls, Asus themselves could not get the USB modem to work in it. I gave up. I purchased this model after speaking to a sales rep at 5g. It was simple to set up & works like a charm. You do need some experience with setting up routers to get it going. Installation instructions are sparse. The quick start guide is very lean. I was not able to find detailed installation information. It may be available, I just didn't find it when I did the install & the store was closed at the time so I fumbled through it. Past router knowledge made set up easy. I will update my review after I have used it for a while.
