Wireless industry leaders and government officials met at the White House today for a summit on 5G, where a commitment to America being a leader in 5G was reiterated. Larry Kudlow, Director of the National Economic Council, described the White House’s approach to 5G as being “free market and free enterprise.” With a commitment to supporting 5G development and infrastructure, the US can expect to add 3 million jobs and up to $1.2 trillion to the U.S. economy.
