I have this antenna installed on my boat about 12" above the radar. It's combined with a Max BR1 MK2 router. This antenna has been a huge difference maker for my installation. I had solid LTE service from Long Beach, all the way to Catalina and San Clemente Islands. (62 miles off shore). Catalina does have cellular towers in some areas, so I can't claim that this antenna was connected over that great of a distance. Regardless, wherever I was on the water, I had service. It was impressive and I'm very happy with the combination.

I researched lots of antennas and the Puma 221 was a great choice. Two things could use improvement. First the documentation should mention that a ground plane is not a requirement. Second is pure aesthetic. The screened label “PEPWAVE” should be printed on the radome in a mounted position. When the antenna is installed in the mount the Pepwave label is noticeably off center.

Works great! Allows me to put my router in a cabinet. I called and spoke to someone on the phone first, they were very helpful.
