Today is a big day for us.
5Gstore.com and MDG Connected Solutions are being acquired by Connected Solutions Group (CSG) in a private transaction currently targeted to close in February 2026.
This is huge news for our customers, our team, and the manufacturers and partners we work with every day. And while “acquisition” can sound like a scary word in business, we want to be crystal clear right up front:
✅ This is the right move, with the right company, at the right time.
✅ Not much is changing day-to-day.
✅ Michael and Julia Ginsberg are still running the ship.
✅ What is changing is the opportunity ahead of us.

Quick Takeaways
If you only read one section, make it this one:
- 5Gstore/MDG is being acquired by CSG (Connected Solutions Group).
- We are targeting early February for the transaction to be completed.
- We nearly went through an acquisition a few years ago, and we pulled out because it was not right for our employees or customers.
- This time, it’s different. This is the right fit, and it sets us up for long-term growth.
- Mike and Julia are staying on, and 5Gstore remains 5Gstore.
Why This Acquisition, and Why Now?
A few years ago, 5Gstore was close to being acquired. We were only a couple of weeks away.
We made the tough decision to walk away because it simply wasn’t the right move for our employees or our customers. We built something special here, and protecting that has always mattered more than rushing into an “exit.”
Fast forward to today, and we’re excited to share that this is the opposite of a rushed deal.
Michael Ginsberg has been talking with Michael Pittman, CEO of CSG, about the idea of combining forces for years. This wasn’t a random conversation or a last-minute opportunity.
Things became serious in 2025, when CSG signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire 5Gstore/MDG Connected Solutions.
From that point forward, it has been a very deliberate process focused on one thing:
How do we create the best possible future for our customers and our employees, while expanding what we can deliver to the market?
Now we have the answer.
Why CSG? Because They’re Exceptional at What We Want to Scale
CSG is one of the strongest names in the wireless channel.
They have built a reputation for doing things the right way, with a focus on real execution and real service, including:
- Customer service at scale
- Sales and marketing excellence
- Deep carrier relationships
- Nationwide deployment enablement
- Programming, staging, kitting, logistics, installation, and managed service support
CSG does many of the things that are extremely hard to do well, and they do them better than anyone.
And at the same time, 5Gstore has built its own world-class strengths over decades, including:
- Customer service and technical support
- Fulfillment operations and shipping accuracy
- Custom Cable Manufacturing
- SEO and content creation that drives organic growth
- A platform that customers trust as a true learning resource, not just a store
Here’s the part that gets us fired up:
Customer service is a major strength for both companies.
When you combine two teams that genuinely care about the customer experience, the ceiling gets very high, very fast.
What’s Changing?
We want to set expectations the right way.
What you’ll see more of (the good stuff)
- More reach and visibility for 5Gstore
- More service options that remove complexity for customers
- More deployment enablement and “white glove” execution
- More momentum behind our OEM relationships
- More opportunities for our team to grow
We believe the future of connectivity is not just hardware. It’s hardware plus expertise, plus implementation, plus support.
Together, we’re building that future.
What’s Staying the Same?
If you are a customer, employee, OEM, or partner, the biggest thing to know is this:
✅ The core of 5Gstore is staying intact.
- Same customer-first culture
- Same obsession with doing it right
- Same focus on support, fulfillment, and accuracy
- Same commitment to being a trusted resource
✅ Leadership continuity
Michael and Julia Ginsberg are still leading the business.
The people who built the foundation are still here, and we’re not handing the keys to someone who doesn’t understand what makes 5Gstore work.
✅ Your experience should feel familiar
From ordering, to shipping, to technical support, our goal is simple:
No disruption. Just improvement.
Why This Is Great for Employees, Customers, OEMs, and Partners
This acquisition is not about cutting corners. It’s about combining strengths.
For Employees
- More growth opportunities
- A bigger platform and bigger support structure
- More investment in what we already do well
For Customers
- More ways to deploy faster and smoother
- More services that remove the heavy lifting from your team
- The same trusted 5Gstore support experience you already know
For OEMs and Partners
- A stronger sales engine behind your products
- A content and organic strategy that keeps demand flowing
- A combined organization that can execute at a national scale
Looking Ahead: 2026 and Beyond
We are genuinely excited about what’s coming.
Connectivity is evolving quickly, from Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), to multi-carrier solutions, to managed services, to next-generation network requirements across government, enterprise, and SMB.
And the reality is:
Customers want speed. They want reliability. They want support. They want confidence.
They also want someone who can help them deploy without friction.
That’s exactly what this combination is designed to deliver.
