Swapped out a AP One Enterprise, laptop in the next room went from 200-250Mbit to 500-550Mbit, as long as you keep your expectations reasonable, you should be pleased with it

I really wanted to love this access point. Bottom line is that 5GHz performance is 1/3 of the AC Mini and the power consumption and heat generation is quite high, hot to the touch! The day I received this, it got discontinued at the 5GStore. As a result of this, I am either getting the new "Lite" version or another AC Mini.

Easy to setup alone...I've purchased a second one for use with a Balance router...nice to setup the AP via the router GUI.

I bought two of these APs to work with my Peplink Balance 30 LTE router, largely to be able to set up VLANs. I ordered the AX to obtain wifi 6 capability, to help "future proof" our system. Prior to this, I simply used two Asus routers in AP mode. While I obtained the VLAN capability and the APs work reasonably well, they are no better than the Asus routers were in terms range, despite being set to max power. Peplink also doesn't do a great job of helping to prevent channel overlap between multiple APs. And finally, these APs (or the Balance 30 LTE) take a very long time for a configuration change to be picked up by the APs themselves, and often require a complete reboot of the AP for it to occur. That can't be done easily when you don't have physical access to the AP or router. So, overall, these are expensive APs that offer only marginal improvement over less expensive choice, with still retaining some the Peplink problems with AP Controller/Configuration. It works, but it's not great, and not worth the price charged, IMO.
