The Peplink Balance 580X Router allows you to tailor your business’ network needs with reliable and secure connections. The Balance 580X provides flexibility along with a data rate boost, thanks to the Peplink SD-WAN technology. The Balance 580X includes five Ethernet WAN ports, three LAN ports, one USB WAN modem port and one expansion module port for the optional FlexModule Mini (sold separately). It provides automatic failover support for much-needed continuity and bandwidth-on-demand with LTE or 5G.

This enterprise-grade router performs right out of the box and handles bandwidth that other routers cannot. It’s supported by Peplink’s InControl — the cloud-based management platform that allows you to efficiently monitor and manage your routers from a single screen. Have questions about the Peplink Balance 580X Router? Contact us and we’ll help you determine if the Balance 580X is right for your small- to medium-sized business and discuss how this product can work for you.

Router features:

  • Internet Connections Supported: 5 Wired WAN, 1 USB (view full compatibility chart), 1 expansion module (sold separately)
  • WiFi Standard: No built-in WiFi. Add an access point (like the AP One Mini) if WiFi is needed.
  • WiFi Range: N/A
  • Ethernet ports: 3 GbE LAN + 5 GbE WAN, 1 x console, 1 x MGMT
  • Size: 17.3" x 10.4" x1.73"
  • Bonding: SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. NOTE: Many factors influence the real-world throughput you'll see from bonded connections, including latency, connection type, connection speeds, traffic type, and reliability on both sides of the SpeedFusion tunnel. Cellular users should note that bonded cellular connections suffer from "flow control" of TCP traffic at the carrier level, and 5Gstore cannot guarantee that bonding multiple cellular connections will result in faster speeds (however, the other benefits of SpeedFusion remain, such as unbreakable VPN, session persistence, and 100% up-time as long as you have 1 healthy WAN).
