This model does NOT include cabling - it utilizes N/Female connectors for use with LMR400, LMR240, or RG58 cable. You will need to purchase two cables, and adapters may also be needed depending on the cable you select and the device you need to connect to.

This model is directional and must be aimed at the cell tower to be effective

The XPOL-2-5G-US is Poynting’s third generation “V3” of this very popular Cross Polarised (XPOL), cellular band, 2X2 MIMO antenna. The antenna enclosure effectively looks the same as the second generation “V2” but has been completely redesigned on the inside. We have used advanced metamaterial technology, making use of Artificial Magnetic Conductors (AMC) and new registered/patent pending radiator configuration, which is proving to yield exceptional improvements in bandwidth and gain. Radiation patterns of this antenna are exceptionally well controlled, further adding to the performance of the antenna.

The XPOL-2-5G-US antenna includes the 617 to 894 MHz band and the newer 3400 - 3800 MHz bands, which were not previously covered by our V2 and is suitable for 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G. This antenna performs exceptionally well in the following frequency bands: 617 – 894 MHz, 1710 – 2170 MHz, 2300 – 2700 MHz & 3400 – 3800 MHz. In addition to the new bands, the gain in the 1700 MHz and 2.7 GHz is around 3 dB higher than the “V2” over the same frequency bands! Our “V2” antenna already outperformed most competitors over these bands, so this substantial improvement in gain shows the benefits of the new advanced materials and novel radiator design.

So, if it was a car, we installed an entirely new technology engine producing twice the power under the bonnet – it may look the same, but just wait until you turn the ignition on!

This antenna Improved the signal-to-noise ratio remarkably and doubled the bandwidth of my MAX BR1 MINI (with CAT4 LTE) device on Verizon as compared with the antenna's included with the MAX BR1 .

The construction of the antenna is solid and appears very durable. The accompanying mounting bracket is well-made and appears to be made of rust-resistant metal. The instruction sheet includes excellent diagrams of the included accessories and makes assembly a breeze. What's more the instruction sheet is written in proper, easy-to-understand English.

The area I was in was very limited on cell service, I noticed no difference with the "rabbit ears" on the hotspot compared to this device. I will try this unit again in better environment. Our Cell phones worked just as good as our hotspot and this directional antenna

Does the Poynting XPOL-0002-V3-12 antenna support all T-Mobile Home Internet 5G bands (n41 & n71) as well as 4G LTE bands (B2, B4, B5, B12, B66 & B71)?

Yes the antenna supports all these 4G & 5G bands. 617 – 894 MHz, 1710 – 2170 MHz, 2300 – 2700 MHz & 3400 – 3800 MHz

How do I know where to aim a directional antenna?

You want to aim the antenna in the direction of your cell tower. Once you have it aimed in the correct direction, you want to gradually zone in on the best possible signal from that direction. Slowly wave the antenna by about 5 degree increments until you find a 'sweet spot.'
