Hi, I have three questions, as follows: 1. Do you sell the B One without a pre-installed modem? 2. Is the B One compatible with Comcast Xfinity at home? I recently subbed cable TV 4 streaming. 3. Do you provide setup support (via phone) for non-techies?

The B One does not contain a cellular modem, but supports 2 Ethernet WAN connections. In this case, you would connect a cable from the Xfinity gateway and utilize 1 WAN port on the B One for the Xfinity service. The second WAN port could be utilized with a secondary service or not at all. It would support a throughput of up to 1Gbps and also supports WIFI for any wireless devices you're looking to connect. The setup is fairly straight forward, but we do provide 1-year free technical support.

For your Surf SOHO to B One config conversion service, what security changes do you recommend before sending the SOHO config? For example, settings in Admin Security & SSID keys should not be shared. Any recommended guidelines from a security perspective?

Admin Security and SSID information are the most important aspects, but it depends on your level of concern. As long as all username and password information is cleared or randomized you should be fine.

If you are concerned with the security of the process we recommend setting up the configuration from scratch, and not sharing your device configuration with any other parties.

For the B One, is the Primecare add-on required for WiFi as WAN?

Wi-Fi as WAN is a free feature and does not require Primecare licensing on the B One.

How many concurrent WAN connections can the B One handle without Speed Fusion?

The B One can support 2 physical ethernet WAN connections and 1 USB WAN connection. No bonding can occur without an active SpeedFusion Connection, but the WAN sources can be used simultaneously.

Your description states the B One has a router throughput of 1Gbps. The Peplink documentation states that the throughput is 600 MBps. Which is correct?

The B One is rated for a 1Gbps throughput as is documented on the Peplink datasheet as well.

I have a Peplink Surf SOHO and am interested in the B One. Can I export the Surf SOHO configuration and import it into the B One to get a start on B One confituration?
