The SMW-306 Series Antennas accommodates higher frequency applications. Bandwidth coverage is 2.4-2.5 GHz on the first element, 3.0-6.0 GHz on the second element and GPS on the third.
The SMW-306 antenna could be used for Public Safety applications with Wireless video at 2.4 GHz and Mesh Networking at 4.9 GHz. It could also be used for Smart Highway applications with WiFi at 2.4 GHz and DSRC at 5.9 GHz, or for Military applications that combine WiFi 2.4 GHz with the Military 4.4GHz band.
The SMW Series antennas have passed Shock & Vibration standards we well as achieving a Dust and Water Ingress rating of IP67. The SMW surface mount mounts easily to roof, truck or bulkhead.
The antenna is enclosed in a 4.2”D x 3.2”H (107 mm x 81 mm) weatherproof radome, and supplied with all mounting hardware and a sealing gasket.
