This antenna does NOT include cabling. You must select a length of cable from the list.

The cables listed here are terminated in SMA/Male for use with most routers/modems. Adapters are available if you need to connect to a different type of connector - contact us if you need assistance. If you already have a compatible cable you plan to use (this antenna has an N/Female connector), you may select the "I already have a cable" option.

Cable length recommendation: Unless you plan to use an amplifier as well, we recommend using LESS THAN 50' OF CABLE to minimize signal loss. Mounting the antenna outside and reasonably high up is recommended, but using long lengths of cable for the express purpose of mounting the antenna higher up typically does not outweigh the additional loss unless the extra length allows you to mount the antenna in a location that can receive signal MUCH better than a shorter cable would.

The SureCall Wide-Band Antenna is for users who live or work in buildings that have substandard cellular service. This directional outdoor antenna requires careful aiming to point at the nearest cell tower for your provider, but when installed properly, it can provide high signal gains for 3G/4G/LTE on many U.S. carriers. It can also boost 2G/3G voice signal on networks including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Coverage is provided for many network frequencies in the 700 to 2700 MHz range, though you will want to confirm with your provider if you are on a smaller carrier.

The Yagi wide-band antenna is designed for stationary outdoor use with a sealed ABS plastic housing and stainless steel backplate that resists moisture and UV rays. It works best when mounted to a pipe or pole using the included hardware. SureCall has been making cell phone antennas and boosters since 2001, and their Yagi antennas for sale at 5GStore are an effective solution when good signals are just out of reach. You can choose from a number of low-loss cables and adapters that attach to the integrated N/Female connector and will link to your specific modem, aircard or repeater.

Antenna Features:

  • Compatibility: 700-2700mhz networks, which are used by most 2G, 3G, and 4G providers in the USA, including:
    • Verizon 2G/3G/4G
    • Sprint 2G/3G/4G LTE
    • AT&T 2G/3G/4G/LTE
    • T-Mobile 3G/4G
    • MetroPCS 3G/4G
    • US Cellular 3G/4G
    • For other carriers, confirm which frequency your provider is using and make sure this antenna supports it before purchasing! Contact us if you need any assistance.
  • Length: 17.3"
  • Cable: NO cable is included with this antenna. Various lengths are available; you can select your cable above. Depending on the cable selected and the device you are using, an adapter may be needed.
  • Ground Plane: The Yagi Antenna has a built-in ground plane.
  • Weatherproof? Yes, this antenna is weatherproof and designed for outdoor use.
  • Mounting Requirements: Mounting hardware is included to mount to a wall or to a pipe/pole (accommodates diameters from 1.25" - 2"). It must be aimed directly at the cell tower.
  • Portability: This antenna is made to be installed at a fixed location aimed at the tower and is NOT portable.

The main benefit of the this multi-band Yagi antenna is its ability to focus its signal in one direction, which leads to greater gain. This antenna is designed for stationary/building use only - it is not appropriate for mobile or travel use. If this antenna is not aimed correctly, it will not be effective - we do NOT recommend this antenna unless you know where the tower is and/or have the patience to do extensive testing while installing.

This directional ultra wide-band log periodic antenna covers a very wide frequency range with high gain. This antenna can be used indoors or outdoors and comes complete with all components needed for pole mounting or wall mounting (does not include the pole). The sealed housing is UV stabilized ABS plastic. The backplate is stainless steel with stainless steel fasteners. All bracket components are stainless steel as well for corrosion protection. The pigtail is outdoor-rated cable terminated with an N/Female connector (coax cable sold separately).

I live way out in the boonies, and VZ is the only reasonable internet available. I'm on the very edge of service. I added this antenna to my Pepwave mbr1 alongside an omni-directional antenna. Aimed in my best approximation of the tower, these are my gains:

RSSI - 10-15dB (to 65avg)
SNR - 5-10dB
RSRP - 15-20db (from 110 before to 90)
RSRQ - ~5dB (up and down a lot)

Prefacing the speed results; Verizon service in the area is still an issue in general. I went from an average of 3Mbps (8Mbps Peak) to an average of 7Mbps (20Mbps Peak). Not exceptional, but MUCH more usable than before.

I had an omni antenna. Changed to the Yagi and my data download went from 3meg to 5.6meg with this ONE SIMPLE change. Pointing it in the right direction is critical.

I got one of these in the 65dB Amp kit, and it all works beautifully. The Cellphone-Mate 65dB amp kit with this yagi performs significantly better than the Wilson amp and the previous yagi antenna offered on this site. It's probably all due to the extra 15dB of the new amp (and higher-quality antenna cables that come with the new kit, as well), but certainly, this antenna does it's job well. I highly recommend the kit, by the way.

Would I need to use 2x SureCall Yagi antennas with the Peplink MAX BR1 Mini, or just one?

Dual yagi setups are recommended and typically installed as shown here:
