Wilson Indoor Directional Panel Antenna w/ Suction Window Mount - 304452 (Cables Sold Separately)

In Stock

Item Number: 3709

This antenna does NOT include cabling. You must select a length of cable from the list (for the ultra-low-loss cabling, we bundle the connector you'll need to connect the cable to your adapter). If you already have a compatible cable you plan to use (this antenna has an N/Female connector), you may select the "I already have a cable" option at the bottom of the list.

How much cable should you use? Unless you plan on using an amplifier as well, we recommend using LESS THAN 50' OF CABLE to minimize signal loss. The longer the cable you use, the more signal you lose. Make sure to choose a long enough cable to allow you to mount the antenna in a location where it can be aimed towards the cell tower, but keep in mind that shorter is better.

You will need an adapter cable or connector to connect this antenna to your device. Simply select your device from the menu and we will include the appropriate adapter with your antenna. If you already own the necessary adapter, you can select the "I already have an adapter" option from the bottom of the list.

This window mount panel antenna is for 3G/4G/LTE data users who are looking for an improved cell signal, but either can’t or don’t want to set up an antenna outside. The Wilson Indoor Directional Antenna attaches to your window using a suction mount and has a built-in ground plane, so you can use it on a variety of surface materials. As a directional antenna, it provides a much larger signal boost than omni antennas, with gains of up to 10.6 dB. To achieve this, it must be aimed in the direction of the cell tower serving your area, which may require testing during installation if you do not already know where the tower is.

Each compact cellular panel antenna is compatible with six different frequency ranges from 700 to 2,500 MHz, covering virtually all North American mobile broadband providers. It does not come with a cable, so if you do not already have a cable and adapter to use with your LTE modem, router or hotspot, you will need to select one above before ordering. The directional indoor antenna can be used inside homes or office buildings for a moderate signal gain when they live outside of optimal range. All mounting hardware is included for installation.

Antenna Features:

  • Compatibility: 700-2500mhz networks, which are used by most 2G, 3G, and 4G providers in the USA, including:

    • For other carriers, confirm which frequency your provider is using and make sure this antenna supports it before purchasing! Contact us if you need any assistance.
  • Dimensions: 8.27" x 7.09" x 1.73".
  • Cable: NO cable is included with this antenna. Various lengths are available; you can select your cable above.

  • Weatherproof? NO, this antenna is made for indoor use. If you are looking for an outdoor panel antenna, see the 304453 model.
  • Mounting Requirements: Suction cup window mount included. It must be aimed towards the cell tower to be effective (line of sight is not required).
  • Portability: This antenna must be aimed at the cell tower and is not practical for portable use.

Do a site survey before buying this antenna! If you're purchasing this to use in just one location, we strongly recommend doing a site survey first to determine whether the antenna will help your signal and performance and to give you an idea of what kind of results you can expect from it. I'm very impressed with the service! I know you're close, I'm in Chicago,
but I received my package in less than 24 hours. The unit was great too. I was a bit
nervous to pluck down this much money when I don't really know what I'm
doing, but the instructions were clear and you made it very easy to select
the exact cables I needed. Thank You!

This unit has allowed my MyFi hotspot to go from 0 to 1 bars on averag to 3-4 bars when placed in the window facing the tower. Don't make the same mistake that I made though. To minimize cable losses I wanted to hook the hotspot directly to the antenna. I thought that just buying the correct adaptor cable would do the trick. What I found was that the end on the adaptor cable doesn't match the end on the antenna. Instead, you need to also purchase either an interum cable or another adapter to attach the MyFi adaptor cable to the antenna. Fortunately, 3G carries both solutions.

3g for virgin mobile on edge of reception is more consistent but not faster, this may be virgin mobile's fault, the antenna is easy to install and the connectors are correct so overall a positive experience

Got this because I could not get a workable 4G signal in my house with a Pantech UML290 cellular modem. I had tried a "trucker" type antenna but that didn't provide enough gain. This panel device did the trick and I now have an excellent 4G signal and good solid broadband internet service with Verizon. I have it mounted in a window in my house that faces the nearest cell phone tower (about 3 miles away).

I recently purchased the 3G/4G panel antenna for use with my UML290. This was my first purchase from 5Gstore. I've had the antenna connected for only 2 days now, but my initial impressions are very positive.

Before the antenna, I would get around 3.5-5 Mbps DL and 0.4-0.6 Mbps UL. With the antenna, my speeds have improved significantly to 8-15 Mbps DL and 0.8-1.3 Mbps UL!

I'm sure there are other people out there in fringe areas (aka the boonies) with poor 3G/4G reception who are wondering if the antenna will help. I can't say that it will help everyone, but for me, with previously one bar of signal (-90ish dBm), it seems to have helped quite a bit.
