Flare 3.0 comes kitted with a Yagi-directional antenna and an average 9 dB increase in uplink power for the frequencies that are most commonly used in rural areas. Together, the increased uplink and upgraded antenna pack the Flare 3.0 with 8X more connecting power for homes and offices in the most challenging signal locations.

Installation notes:

  • In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the outside and inside antennas (if the antennas are too close together, there will be oscillation/feedback between the antennas and the amplifier will shut down). This amplifier requires approximately 30' of separation between the outside antenna and the amplifier's built-in antenna. Separation can be horizontal or vertical.
  • The Yagi antenna must be aimed directly at the cell tower - if it is not aimed properly or if there are too many obstructions between it and the cell tower, it will not be effective.
