Wilson Wide-Band 3G/4G/LTE Yagi Antenna - 314411 (Cable Sold Separately)
[314411]

Fantastic antenna, PLUS FANTASTIC AFTER SALE HELP AND CONSIDERATION!!!

I sent for, and received the antenna and a twenty foot RG-58 cable.
I thought that my connection needs were in order.
-They were not!

I called, asking for assistance; I needed a non-standard ADAPTER.
They shipped the needed adapter to me with NO SHIPPING COST!!

I received the adapter just in time for a camping trip, which involved my need to use the new antenna. (Very speedy service!!!)

At camp, I set up my Wyfre (sp?) bi-directional amplifier with the standard supplied 3 dB gain antenna, mounted on the roof of the hard-side camper. NO SIGNALS AT ALL...

I set up the new Wilson Yagi: I had SIGNALS!!! Not strong, bit I was truly amazed! The camp site is in the country, and is about 200 or so feel below average terrain. I was impressed that this compact antenna could deliver as well as it did!

I used two seven-foot pieces of EMT tubing, joined by a metal coupler as a mast to hold the small and light Wilson antenna. This mast is attached (using Velcro tapes) to the top edge of the small hard-side camper, at roof level. (The antenna was a few feet above the roof of the small camper.) I was able to aim the antenna from inside the camper by opening a window to grasp and turn the mast. Simple, but it worked! I found the "front lobe" of the antenna to be quite wide, or broad; -This may well have been due to my extremely poor location.

The antenna was actually touched by a tree's leaves on the "back end." (This is NEVER GOOD!!) The antenna was well nested in trees, as it was only a third of the height of the densely wooded area. I was able to get wireless broadband even in the rain!!!!!! (I had felt that the rain would increase the absorption of the signals more, as the trees and leaves were VERY wet!)

Nope, this is a winner! I taped the type N connection's junction from the antenna's short cable and the 20 foot RG-58 cable, then I sealed it with a good grade of RTV sealant for a very secure weatherproofing. The cable is coiled and remains attached to the top seven foot mast. Both sections of the mast hang in a secure position in our tow-vehicle, a panel-van, so it travels well.

Yep, this antenna is a KEEPER!!!
