Bought this unit a couple of months back. Worked fine with Pantech UML290 modem and Cradlepoint MBR1400 router. For a couple of hours. After that I couldn't get a 4g signal. I thought it was my Pantech Modem, which tech support at 5GStore thought as well. I bought several other modems, over the course of a couple weeks, thinking I kept getting bad modems. After 4 or so "bad modems" I asked to send my parts back to check out. On my $ I sent parts back and they "tested fine". Ok, fine, spent $550+ on a new router as that was what they thought would fix my problem. So I got a pepwave router. With the booster, I can get a signal, and it appears "good" per signal level analysis, but I have no usable internet. Pages won't load, etc... Disconnecting the amp and connecting straight to my Pepwave, signal is fine. Now tech support is telling me my signal is too strong????? To use a weaker antenna than the one they sold me. WTF. Why get a booster if the signal will be too strong. 3G wont refund me as it's been too long since I purchased. I am very unhappy with this whole deal. Upselling me at every turn, selling components that don't work and now I get to try to chase down surecall. LAST PURCHASE AT 3G
