This router "keeps out the bad guys" the hackers that too readily hack into my wifi network.

Cons: it's sometimes a little slower with connections, which was causing my laptop to dump the connection for a faster one on my less secure arris modem/router. Finally I learned to lock the laptop to the Pep wave connection. All is well.
