weBoost Home 4G 60db 5-Band Desktop Repeater Kit - 470101 [700/800/1900/1700/2100mhz]
The Home 4G has been discontinued. See the Home Multiroom as a replacement
The weBoost Home Cell Booster Kit from 5GStore is designed to make it easier for homeowners and home office workers to improve their cellular signal. This 5-band 4G desktop repeater kit works with the frequencies used by most major service providers in the U.S. to amplify weak signals in low coverage areas. If you can receive even a faint signal in your location, the repeater will increase it by up to 60dB for voice, 3G, 4G and LTE. With a coverage area of up to 1,500 square feet, this cellular booster kit can cover the rooms that you use the most for making calls, sending texts or transferring data.
weBoost has been a leader in the cell phone booster industry since 1999, and as a part of Wilson Electronics, they have developed advanced technology for improving signals. Their 4G Home Repeater Kit uses weBoost SmarTech to amplify the cell tower signal that has been picked up by the outdoor directional antenna, then rebroadcasts via an indoor antenna that attaches to your desktop. It will automatically determine the overall strength and adjust the gain based on what’s needed to ensure a faster, more reliable connection. This prevents it from broadcasting such a strong signal that it starts interfering with the regular tower signal.
A 60db Desktop Repeater Kit is ideal for increasing cellular signal in the “dead spots” of your home or for making sure you can get work done in your home office. It supports devices from multiple carriers simultaneously and works with mobile hotspots and jetpacks as well as phones. This all-in-one kit includes all antennas, RG6 cables and other hardware needed to help reduce dropped calls, improve download speeds and increase device battery life. A two-year manufacturer’s warranty is included with every kit. Amplifier Features:
Coverage area*: up to 1,000 square feet
All-in-One Kit? YES
Compatibility: This amplifier supports 700mhz/800mhz/1700mhz/1900mhz/2100mhz networks (which includes most 2G, 3G, and 4G providers in the US). Supported carriers/networks include :
Verizon 2G/3G/4G/AWS
Sprint 2G/3G/4G LTE (gain is minimal for Sprint 4G LTE, and only on the 1900mhz band. This amplifier does not support Sprint's 2500mhz LTE band)
AT&T 2G/3G/4G/LTE
US Cellular 2G/3G/4G
T-Mobile 2G/3G/4G
MetroPCS 2G/3G/4G
For other carriers, confirm which frequency your provider is using and make sure this amplifier supports it before purchasing! Contact us if you need any assistance.
Installation notes:
In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the outside and inside antennas (if the antennas are too close together, there will be oscillation/feedback between the antennas and the amplifier will shut down). This amplifier requires approximately 30' of separation between the outside and inside antennas . Separation can be horizontal or vertical.
If you cannot achieve adequate separation to eliminate oscillation, you can turn down the gain on the amplifier, but that will result in a smaller coverage area from the amplifier.
The outdoor/window antenna must be aimed at the cell tower - if it is not aimed properly, it will not be effective. Line of sight is not required, but it does need to be aimed towards the tower.
Make sure the interior desktop antenna is aimed AWAY from the outside antenna.

I live in the Shenandoah Valley just outside of Grottoes VA. My internet is via Sprint using a (portable) pocketWiFi device that "beams" my internet from a tower located far away. I went with Sprint since they have an unlimited data plan (which I formerly had with Ntelos, which was bought by Sprint). I originally had only 1 bar on my Wifi device, but after chatting with folks at the 3G store, they recommended this product.
I was skeptical, but took the leap. WOW! It worked great. You get a booster, an outdoor antenna, and an indoor antenna. The outdoor antenna collects the signal, which is sent to the booster and then to the indoor antenna; the boosted signal is then sent to my Wifi device, which sends the signal to the rest of my house. I have consistently 5 bars. I am really impressed.
A few things to note: you will need two people to set this up; one person to manipulate the outdoor antenna (that is hooked up to the booster + indoor antenna) to find the sweet spot for the signal, and another person inside to observe the Wifi device to see the difference in signal strength. If you have a portable Wifi device that runs on batteries (as mine does--it also has an AC adapter), then just take the device outside/on your roof and look for the signal change. Once you've found the high-strength area, that's where to start with placing your antenna.
Across the board, this was a very successful purchase. The folks at 3G store were great, and they even followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. Great product, great business.
