I purchased this to use with my Pantech UML290 for the 4g. It does seem to help with the signal, but by about one bar. I had to move the antenna to a different room that was not near a window and there were a couple of walls in the direction of the tower. I am still getting a good signal and speeds. I get anywhere from 8-19 mb down and 2-5 mb up. I would definitely recommend if you are on the fringe of the 4g.
