I bought this router to replace an older Netgear MBR1515 LTE router that worked well but no gigabit throughput. The Pepwave was simple to set up. I plugged in a Pantech USB modem(the Netgear used a sim card plugged directly into the router)launched a webpage, logged in, changed the password then hit a stumbling block. I could not connect to LTE which left me with 2G service and constantly connecting and disconnecting. Not good at all so I had to revert back to the Netgear to search for a solution. I eventually found the solution which was to disable USB Healthcheck. Now I have a router with great reception and fast transfer rates, blazing fast compared to the MBR1515. What I don't like about the Pepwave is that it has no power switch at all. My solution was to plug it into a power strip. That may sound petty but I don't have access to DSL only satellite or cellular with a data cap. What I learned is D...tv updates at night using part of my data in the process causing me to go over my cap then the speed drops to 600kb. Now I am happy yet hopeful to get DSL at some point, been told it's coming for over 25 years.
