I live in a semi-rural area and as of now, there is no company that provides internet service down my street. My options were very limited, either use satellite internet or mobile hotspot. After reading the absolutely horrible reviews about satellite internet I went with the mobile hotspot. This is were another issue presented itself. I did not want all of my devices in the house using Wi-Fi. I wanted to be able to plug the hotspot into the router and use the router as the wired hub to run Cat5E cable to the different devices, (TV, Playstation, etc.) but the router that I have does NOT have USB to WAN capability. Turns out, most routers on the market do not have this feature. Your router has to have USB to WAN capability to be able to use the mobile hotspot and router in the manner I described. So, I contacted 3G Store and he recommended the Pepwave Surf SOHO MK3 Router, which is a business grade router. This router is truly amazing. It allows me to connect wired devices to the hotspot and use Wi-Fi on the my laptop. I have had it about a month now and now issues as of yet. I truly do not expect there to be either.
If the router came with a booklet that talked a little more in-depth about the features and settings of the router and how to adjust and change them, this router would be 5 stars all day.
