I would give the unit 4-5 stats, but I would give 5GStore only 2 stars. Originally I wanted to purchase this unit in conjunction with a Verizon USB modem stick. The sales rep from 5GStore talked me out of the Surf SOHO and convinced me to go with a Pepwave MAX BR1 Mini with a Verizon SIM card. When I went to the Verizon store to activate the SIM Card, multiple levels of Verizon tech support could not get the BR1 Mini to work with my consumer Verizon unlimited data account. They said it was because the BR1 Mini was a M2M unit. So I returned the unit to 5GStore and exchanged it for the Surf Soho unit that I originally wanted. Unfortuately, 5Gstore made me pay the return shipping of the MAX BR1 as well as the additional shipping on the next unit, even though they were the ones who mislead me originally. I initially went to the 5GStore for the "service"; I would have been better off dealing with Amazon.
The Pepwave Surf SOHO works fine, and it is actually a pretty nice unit.
