I normally have 1 - 2 bars of signal strength, and calls often don't go through or are dropped. I placed the booster in the top window facing directly at the nearest cell tower, about 30 feet above ground level. I have a green top LED, a flashing yellow right LED, and the left LED blinks briefly when powered up, then goes off. I now get 1 - 3 bars of signal strength, but it fluctuates, and I can o ly occasionally make/receive a call. I have moved the booster to every window available that faces the nearest tower and also placed the table-top antenna in various locations, from 20 to 30 feet away and on the main living level about 15 feet below the booster. While the signal strength shows marginal improvement, it is not reliable and no better than without the booster system in terms of making/receiving calls. My next step will be to look into how to return it.

5Gstore Comments: We're sorry this didn't work out for you! It looks like you've called to arrange a return. Unfortunately in situations where the signal is particularly poor, an amplifier may not provide dramatic results. You may want to try something with an outdoor antenna which can be more effective than an indoor solution. Please let us know if you'd like to discuss other options.
