Combine multiple WAN and 3G/4G/LTE broadband sources into a single high-speed internet connection for your business using the Peplink Balance 210 router. Developments in load balancing and bonding technology mean small- and medium-sized businesses can use affordable broadband options to get the bandwidth they need without breaking the bank on fiber optics. This Peplink enterprise router has two wired WAN ports for connecting DSL, T1 and other broadband connections A third WAN port can be added with a license upgrade to give your business network even more options.

The Peplink Balance 210 also has a USB port for 3G/4G/LTE modems. This can be set up as a failover to the wired connections or combined with them for up to 350Mbps bandwidth throughput. Users can select one of the included load balancing algorithms to reroute incoming traffic along each line or bundle them into a single secure data tunnel using SpeedFusion VPN bonding (requires a second Peplink router). Both load balancing and bonding can be done with multiple ISP and cellular providers, so if one of them has a problem, your business will remain online. Intelligent Failover monitors the health of each connection and automatically reroutes traffic in case of a failure.

When you use the Peplink Balance 210 as a bonding router, you also get the security benefits of an unbreakable virtual private network with 100 percent uptime if you have a healthy WAN connection. Packet-level failover within the VPN means that even high-bandwidth tasks such as voice calls and remote desktop services will continue uninterrupted during the switch. With load balancing, you can run your network solely off a 3G/4G modem backup if needed. Other features such as AP Controller Standard and a web-based interface make it easy to manage your network and generate logs and reports. The newest version of the Peplink BPL-210 router also has seven Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for additional direct hardware connections to the network.

5Gstore is a Peplink Certified PartnerRouter Features:

  • Internet Connections Supported: 2 Wired WAN (a third can be unlocked via license upgrade), 1 USB (view full compatibility chart)
  • WiFi Standard: No built-in WiFi. Add an access point (like the AP One Mini) if WiFi is needed.
  • WiFi Range: N/A
  • Ethernet ports: 7 GbE LAN + 2 WAN (a third can be unlocked via license upgrade)
  • Size: 1.72" x 11.6" x 6.25"
  • Bonding: SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. NOTE: Many factors influence the real-world throughput you'll see from bonded connections, including latency, connection type, connection speeds, traffic type, and reliability on both sides of the SpeedFusion tunnel. Cellular users should note that bonded cellular connections suffer from "flow control" of TCP traffic at the carrier level, and 5Gstore cannot guarantee that bonding multiple cellular connections will result in faster speeds (however, the other benefits of SpeedFusion remain, such as unbreakable VPN, session persistence, and 100% up-time as long as you have 1 healthy WAN).

For business owners with 25 to 150 network users, the Peplink Balance 210 enterprise router gives you the power and flexibility you need to stay online at all hours. Organizations that load balance with the latest harder get faster “always-on” networks at a significantly lower cost than leased lines. 5GStore's staff has the knowledge and experience to assist you with any questions. We provide a year of free technical support on every Peplink 210 purchase along with access to nearly 100 support documents. As a stocking dealer, we are ready to ship fast the same day so you can experience the benefits of your new router.

This load balancer has features that I likely will never use in my home network, however it is great to know they are there and I am not limited. I am using Wan Bonding through a VPN tunnel which works very well. The 3G store and the PepLink support is really good. The InControl2 cloud interface is fnatastic.

Haven';t had a chance to install these yet. I'm sure they will be just what the doctor ordered.

This is a really good product. It combines the bandwidth of 2 ISPs and a mobile broadband. I initially thought the router functionality was limited and the support from 3G guided me how to use the port forwarding feature. I bought a wireless AP to handle the WIFI side and got rid of the my wireless/router which I could have used and connected as a wireless AP mode only. You can connect to this device via a web browser to configure and view other functionalities such as the STATUS where you can see the devices connected and the real-time data usage.

The documentation on this was a bit dated but PepLink Support was awesome. It works as advertised. The PepLink/Wave interface is easy to use. Bonding made fairly easy with this and the Max700. Don't forget the outbound rules when you set it up.
