The Cardlepoint R2100 Series 5G Ruggedized Router combines router, modem, and antennae with one exterior form factor that reduces cabling complexity and minimizes signal attenuation for high-performance 5G scenarios. The sleek, rugged design can be mounted externally for vehicle and loT applications, and its casing protects against weather, vibration, and shock.


The R2100 Series is designed to accommodate the diverse spectrums and breadth of new technologies introduced in 5G while delivering enterprise-class standards of scalability, comprehensive management, and security. It is available with the Netcloud Performance Mobile Service plan or the Netcloud Ruggedized IoT Service Plan(Model specific). It provides an easy-to-install integrated modem, antenna, and Wi-Fi 6-equipped router in one complete package.

Designed to be mounted externally on a vehicle, kiosk, or in outdoor areas, the R2100 series does not require antenna cables. As 5G is transmitted from a much higher spectrum than 4G, there is a greater signal loss from an antenna to a router. Eliminating the need for the antennas eliminates signal loss between the antenna and the modem, providing the ultimate in 5G vehicle and IoT connectivity!

The R2100 Series can act as a captive modem and be managed as an integrated WAN Interface on the controlling router. This allows 5G to be added to an LTE deployment, or a second 5G connection added to a 5G router. It can also provide captive WI-FI to an R1900 Series controlling router. Easily deployed with no coax cabling, the R2100 Series can be Pot powered while providing a high-performance 5G connection over Ethernet.

*Compatibility with all WiFi networks cannot be guaranteed. Networks requiring authentication on a "splash page" (e.g. Starbucks WiFi) in particular can be hit or miss.
