I experienced problems getting this set up, so I called Cradlepoint support. They gave me bad advice as to the capability of this gateway to connect to the internet via WiFi as WAN without a SIM card. It will. After calling 5-G store back, they correctly guided me in getting this to work.

I have about 15 of these, they work great. I don't use the management software but the routers are rock solid and have had very little issue, even in a manufacturing environment.
