What are all the costs involved?
Setup: There is a one-time setup fee of $49.99 (for new customers) or $9.99 (for customers who purchased One Talk with 5Gstore or are doing so while purchasing General Mailbox) per order.
Monthly: The monthly fee per Mailbox is $5.
Messages: 60 voicemails per month are included in the $5 monthly fee. Additional messages are billed at $0.05/each.
Notifications: All email notifications are included. 60 SMS notifications are included in the $5 monthly fee; additional SMS are billed at $0.01/each.
Transcription: If selected, voicemail transcription is billed at $0.10 per message.
Is there any limitation to how many voicemails I can receive or how long the messages can be?
There is no limitation to how many voicemails you can receive to your General Mailbox. Additional messages beyond 60 per month will be billed at $0.05/each.
One Talk voicemails can be a maximum of 60 seconds long, and there is no difference billing-wise between a 1 second message and a 60-second message.
What are the notification options? Can I change my notification preferences later?
Voicemail alerts can be sent via email or text message. You can configure up to 10 email addresses or phone numbers to receive your voicemails. Email contacts can be set up to receive either the .WAV file of the voicemail, a text transcription, or both. Phone contacts can be set up to receive either a link to the .WAV file, a text transcription, or both.
60 SMS notifications are included per month and additional alerts are billed at $0.01/each. Remember that if you have multiple contacts set up to receive alerts via SMS, each voicemail you receive will trigger multiple SMS alerts (one to each contact) - so you will reach the 60 SMS allowance before you receive 60 voicemails.

You can update your notification preferences any time by logging in at 5Gstore.com and navigating to "General Mailbox" under account settings.
How long will my voicemails be saved?
Voicemail WAV files are saved for 60 days.
How do I set up my General Mailbox forwarding and answering rules?
If you are signing up for General Mailbox while ordering your One Talk phones, you will be prompted to provide your desired settings during checkout and 5Gstore will set up your General Mailbox as part of your One Talk system setup.
If you are signing up for General Mailbox for One Talk phones that were purchased previously (with 5Gstore or elsewhere), you will be provided with detailed setup instructions after submitting your order. A hidden phone number for the mailbox will be automatically created and you will be instructed on how to configure it within your MyBiz account.
When and how does billing occur?
At checkout, you will pay for the setup fee and prorated first monthly charge.
Thereafter, billing will occur on the first of the month. On the first of each month, you will be billed the $5 per-Mailbox fee for the upcoming month as well as any transcription fees or extra message or SMS notification fees from the previous month.
EXAMPLE: You're an existing 5Gstore customer and sign up for 1 General Mailbox on May 5 with the transcription option and two SMS contacts for notifications.
At checkout, you pay the $9.99 setup fee and prorated May service charge (approximately $4.17).
From May 6-31, you receive 62 voicemails to your General Mailbox:
- The first 60 messages are included and the next 2 are billed at $0.05/ea
- All 62 are transcribed and billed at $0.10/ea
- Since two SMS contacts were set up for notifications, 124 SMS notifications were sent (one to each contact for all 62 messages). The first 60 SMS notifications are included and the next 64 are billed at $0.01/ea
On June 1, you will be billed $5 for the June fee plus $0.10 for the extra messages plus $6.20 for transcription plus $0.64 for the extra SMS, for a total of $11.94
How do I pay my bill?
The credit card used at checkout will automatically be billed on the first of each month. You can log in any time to update or change your saved credit card.
You will receive a billing confirmation email with a summary of charges after each payment is processed.
If your card is declined for any reason, you will be notified to update your card info or provide a new card. Please monitor your email for contact from 5Gstore and address any billing issues promptly to avoid disruption of service.
Is there a contract or can I cancel any time?
You can cancel your General Mailbox service any time. Please note that there are no refunds for service already paid for, and upon cancelation you will be billed for any outstanding transcription, additional message, or additional SMS fees from the current month.
