After installing I received about a 10db gain in signal strength. So good in fact I'm buying another one. My Inseego modem/router has two antenna ports.

Will the Inseego 4G/5G Indoor High-Gain Directional Antenna antenna work on T-Mobile network?

The Inseego FX2000E ONLY allows for bands B42, B48, and/or n78 to be used through it's external antenna ports. Band 48 is a T-mobile Cellular band.

How do I know where to aim a directional antenna?

You want to aim the antenna in the direction of your cell tower. Once you have it aimed in the correct direction, you want to gradually zone in on the best possible signal from that direction. Slowly wave the antenna by about 5 degree increments until you find a 'sweet spot.' If you're unsure of how to locate the tower in your location, you can reference our video here: https://youtu.be/2DylKQlYbv8
