The Cradlepoint AER2200 Power Supply, originally intended for up to 4 Ports of PoE+ with a 60W PoE budget and requiring a separate line cord purchase, has been phased out. A more advanced alternative is now offered in the form of the Cradlepoint AER2200 High Power Supply. This upgraded version supports up to 4 Ports of PoE+ with an enhanced 120W PoE budget and is identified by the model number 170751-000.
The AER2200 high power supply allows you to run up to 4 devices via PoE on your Cradlepoint enterprise router with a power budget of 60W. While AER2200 routers come with four Power over Ethernet ports, the default 30-watt power supply is only able to run two of them. This replacement Cradlepoint power supply doubles the power budget to 60 watts, enabling businesses to run all four ports with 15 watts of power from each.
