I drive an RV and am often in remote locations with very little to no cell reception. This unit has indeed improved my cell reception to a useable range in places I had almost none and vastly improved my data speeds when I use my phone tethered to my computer. I did change to a different indoor antenna, Wilson #311135 so I can get interior reception from a great distance (was 3 feet but now almost 10 feet).
