How do you mount the hardware to the RV ? I assume that RV sidewall needs tto be cleaned with a alcohol pad ? Maybe add a srew in each ?

We would always suggest working with a clean surface when mounting. There have been some suggestions stating that the mount area should be scuffed or roughed up then prepped/cleaned using a surface prep/cleaner. There should be two clamps that come with the pole that Mount to the side of the RV by adhesive.
