I am very pleased with the DataJack 598U Modem. It was extremely easy to set up and has performed well. I actually purchased this product in order to stay connected to my office while spending time in "deer camp" and all outdoor sportsmen and hunters will be able to appreciate that these are usually remote areas. My particular location does not have a lot of signal strength, and this device has operated well for me with 1-2 bars! I would highly recommend this product and this company. They have delivered what they promised, and customer support has been outstanding. Great bang for the buck!

We acquired this device for a Linux embedded system, and have been very impressed with it. The Linux 2.6.32 kernel we happened to be using happened to have a kernel module driver (sierra.ko) that builds and works with the device. Moreover, we never see DNS problems like we had with other similar devices (like the Virgin Mobile MC760). The only downside is the measured speed might be a bit slower than other devices, but owing to reliability we have replaced other dongles with this one.
Good service from the 3G store as well.

Item arrived without any problems but won't be able to use it until April vacation to USA. We live in Canada. Do you have any thoughts about offering something similar for Canada. Our only choices force us to sign monthly contracts.
