This device does not include the ball joint mount. It does include zip ties that can be used for mounting, but most users prefer to use the Ball Joint.

Peplink provides a one-year standard warranty at no additional charge. This warranty period can be extended for an additional 1 or 2 years if desired.

There is a setup fee of $10 for all warranty/license items (you will see this fee in your cart at checkout). If you are purchasing multiple warranties/licenses, you will only be charged the fee ONCE, and if you order more than 5, this fee is WAIVED.

The Device Connector is a versatile piece of equipment that allows users to connect to a WiFi source and repeat/extend that signal and/or convert from wireless to wired access via the ethernet ports. The Device Connector's WiFi range is approximately 1000' in a home/office environment (actual real-world WiFi range varies based on construction, interference, etc).

  • Extend the WiFi range from your router
  • Pick up external WiFi sources (e.g. campground WiFi, citywide WiFi, etc - virtually any network that is either open or for which you have the password*!) and create a secure private network from it
  • Extend WiFi to a second building (for example, a garage, out-building, next-door neighbor's house, etc)
  • Use nearby WiFi as a backup/failover solution for home/office
  • Give ethernet-only equipment a way to get online
  • Bridge mode with a second Device Connector or router

No DC input. No PoE adapter included. Make sure you have 802.3at PoE available.

This thing worked perfectly for getting a device with only an Ethernet port connected to a Wifi access point.

This product does a great job. I was unable to set it up myself so I called and got some great help from the 5GStore. I am using it to connect my computers from a pole barn to the house. I have the Surf SOHO in the house and the IP-55 on the side of the pole barn. Chris did a great job of helping me get the right equipment to do the job.
