Key Features:

In fact, Cel-Fi intelligently and automatically senses and adapts to its environment-including to changes made by your carrier, or to changes caused by nearby equipment like Wi-Fi, or other Cel-Fi devices.
  • Cel-Fi provides coverage up to 15,000 sq. ft., making it ideal for large homes and offices. Multiple Units of Cel-Fi can be deployed in large offices and will not interfere with coverage strength.
  • Cel-Fi is radically different from traditional repeaters, Cel-Fi is the only intelligent booster that's wireless-in/wireless-out. The Network Unit receives the signal from the mobile network (it requires as little as one bar of signal) and relays it wirelessly to the Coverage Unit that amplifies it for up to 100dB of gain.

Open box item was priced well. Delivered quickly and packed well. Package contents were "like new". OK, This was a an incredibly easy installation. Followed all directions and I was up and running in 15 minutes. I receive 2 bars on a good day and was tired of dropped calls and long lag times to send a text. Although I was concerned that my phone was only getting 2 bars after installing the Cell-Fi, my LCID signal increased, my dBm signal increased and the control unit was showing a 3 bars! That range was a significant increase to keep my calls from dropping. By the way, I called the 3G store folks, they were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. This is a premium priced item, but well worth it. I've had the signal booster for close to a month with no problems. The android app is a little "twitchy", but useable.

Will the Cel-Fi DUO+ work with 5G?

No, the Cel-Fi DUO+ only supports LTE signals.

Can an external antenna be connected to the Cel-Fi DUO+?

The Cel-Fi Duo+ does not support external antennas.

Are there any Cel-Fi kits that support more than 1 carrier?

No, they are carrier specific, which allows them to bypass the standard FCC rules that amplifiers fall under. This includes rules regarding the amplifier gain. While most amplifiers max out around 72db, the Cel-Fi kits max out at 100db. This increased gain not only results in a potentially stronger signal, but also to support much larger coverage areas (72db gain systems typically cover up to 6000 sq ft, while the Cel-Fi is capable of up to 13000 sq ft).

Can I use more than one Cel-Fi unit if I need to support multiple carriers?

Yes, unlike the traditional cabled kits from SureCall and weBoost, the Cel-Fi kits can be used in the same location without causing interference between the systems.
