This is the latest version of the HD2 that includes 11ac WiFi and PoE

This router features two embedded modems and you will need SIM cards with active service from a compatible provider to use them. The HD2 has standard 2FF SIM slots - if you plan to use a micro or nano SIM, you'll need a SIM adapter.

Business needs often take people to different parts of the world, and it can be a challenge finding fast, reliable Internet service wherever you go. The Pepwave Max HD2 does the hard work of keeping you connected so you can focus on being productive. This modular enterprise router supports up to six different internet connections to provide increased speeds and uptime. Two embedded Cat 6 LTE Advanced modems, and it also supports two wired WAN connections, one USB modem and Wi-Fi as WAN connectivity. This model also includes MediaFast, Peplink's content caching technology that allows you to prefetch content during off-peak hours, saving connectivity costs and reducing network burden during busy times.

With its ability to utilize wired and wireless connections from multiple providers, the Pepwave HD2 router allows users to choose the services that are best for the areas they spend the most time in. Intelligent failover will automatically switch between various SIM cards, DSL, public wireless and other broadband options based on what is available. This is especially useful if cellular providers have limited coverage areas or if you travel frequently. The router can also combine connections for faster speeds using priority-based load balancing or Pepwave’s unbreakable SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. Manage those connections or add new ones from any internet-capable device using the cloud-based InControl2 management system.

The Max HD2 is made for staying connected. Employees and nearby users can experience the same secure networking experience by connecting their devices using the Wi-Fi access point or four-port Ethernet switch. Once you have set up your connections and security policies, the router will automatically manage them without the need for additional software or technicians. And, its tough construction meets international standards for shock/vibration resistance and electromagnetic compatibility, meaning it can be used in anything from ATMs to airplanes. Every Pepwave load balancing/bonding router purchase includes a year of expert technical support and documentation to help your company get the most out of its mobile network.

5Gstore is a Peplink Certified PartnerRouter Features:

  • Internet Connections Supported: 2 Embedded LTE, 2 Wired WAN, 1 USB (view full compatibility chart), WiFi as WAN*
  • Networks Supported for Embedded Modems: 4G LTE (B1/2100, B2/1900, B3/1800, B4/AWS, B5/850, B7/2600, B8/900GSM , B12/17 700a, B13/700c, B20/800DD, B25/1900+, B26/850+, B29/700d, B30/2300WCS, B41/TD 2500); WCDMA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ (B1/2100, B2/1900, B3/1800, B4/AWS, B5/850, B8/900).
  • WiFi Standard: Dual-band 802.11ac
  • WiFi Range: 400-500' through walls, much greater unobstructed (variable depending on interference from other electronics and physical interference such as walls and ceilings)
  • Ethernet ports: 4 GbE LAN + 2 WAN
  • Size: 1.56" x 10.24" x 5.66"
  • Bonding: SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. NOTE: Many factors influence the real-world throughput you'll see from bonded connections, including latency, connection type, connection speeds, traffic type, and reliability on both sides of the SpeedFusion tunnel. Cellular users should note that bonded cellular connections suffer from "flow control" of TCP traffic at the carrier level, and 5Gstore cannot guarantee that bonding multiple cellular connections will result in faster speeds (however, the other benefits of SpeedFusion remain, such as unbreakable VPN, session persistence, and 100% up-time as long as you have 1 healthy WAN).
*Compatibility with all WiFi networks cannot be guaranteed. Networks requiring authentication on a "splash page" (e.g. Starbucks WiFi) in particular can be hit or miss. Also note that certain features available for other WAN connections may not be available via WAW, such as MAC Address Clone or IP Passthrough - refer to the full product manual if you plan to use WAW for more advanced routing.
