I have this router installed on my boat with the Pepwave Puma 221 antenna. The antenna is mounted high on the top of the boat, about 12" above the radar. I'm very happy with this combination! At the dock, the router stays connected to the dock's wifi. Out on the water, it maintains a solid connection to cellular on the shore. I've tested this between Long Beach, CA to Catalina and even San Clemente Island. I've had solid LTE service pretty much the entire journey. There was only one time that it didn't get coverage and that was when I was in a cove at San Clemente Island with no line of sight back to the mainland or Catalina. It blew me away how well it worked. This router combined with a good antenna, that is placed well, will do its job. I highly recommend. Just so you know, before I installed the external antenna, the coverage was more or less on part with just a regular cell phone. Buy the antenna.

Stops working intermittently (every couple of hours) while watching streams, and I have to power cycle it to get the cell signal back.

Works as expected. Good reliable mobile router. I installed mine in my simi truck using internet from unlimitedlte advanced who is a pretty decent provider. To anyone needing a good rugged and reliable router I highly recommend this one. It's expensive which is my only real complaint, but it's reliable and worth the price.

I've used this now with both Verizon and AT&T as a replacement for another older SIM router. I do really like the features and ability to monitor bandwidth and alert/change SIMs when reaching data thresholds. So far it seems to have all of the features I need!

As a business owner I know that so often we only hear the negative stuff so I wanted to give you a shout out! I have had my Mikelson 60 yacht for two years and had been searching for a solution to my communication and streaming needs while both in port and at sea, the Pepwave Max BR1 MK2 you sold me has so far completely satisfied those needs and I believe it’s even faster than I have at home or my office! In addition to general internet business I regularly present seminars and have had some issues previously when on board, with the speed I now have these presentations should go well!

In addition to the excellent product, your firm has been great whether talking about the initial sale with Dario or my call to service with help getting final settings taken care of. I will be placing the order for the antenna too (just in case) but I wanted to acknowledge your firms excellent service!

I have already and will continue to refer you to others looking for a similar solution!

We hooked it up and it works terrific! Before we purchased this we had little to no internet and on and off WiFi now both have very strong signals.
